Post by RAITARO INAZUMA on Feb 18, 2014 16:23:30 GMT -5
Raitaro was slouching on the floor as he rapidly tapped the controller's buttons and whistled tunelessly to himself. He hadn't been to school, again, he'd had another few reports that he had to read come in, again, and he was now listening as Ayane walked through with her nose pinched between her fingers "Rai-nii, you aren't going to like this" "What's up? Is Dad sending us to the mountains again?" "No... A rival family's moved into town and is trying to take our territory" Ayane winced as she heard Rai's full-bodied groan of exhaustion and annoyance. She didn't like her big brother that much but she knew how much of a pain in the ass these things were. He seemed to be dragging himself up slowly and rummaging for better clothes "Is Sheeks-" "Still on a secret mission, but I sent him an e-mail" "The Varia owe us some fav-" "Couldn't get hold of Arca-san or Yukimura-kun. And before you ask, Sawada-san is still getting better" "Greeeeeeat. They have hostages don't they?" Ayane nodded sadly as Rai got to his feet.
Plain white T-shirt, dark trousers and the orange lined black jacket he'd adopted as a fighting uniform. He looked grumpy more than badass though as he tried to sort his hair out and listened to Ayane's explanation. Some of this new family had kidnapped students from Raitaro's school and they were being held hostage in Kokuyo Land. Rai immediately hoped Sayomi might have already caught them but she didn't really have a phone so even if she had already trapped them in a spooky dollhouse he'd need to go ask in person. Making sure he had all his stuff Raitaro briefly considered calling Hachi. Since Sheeka was always busy on this top secret mission. Rummaging around, Rai grabbed a handful of Funeral Wreath rings, two storm, a sky, a cloud and a lightning. Making sure he had the ACTUAL lightning ring on his hand, Rai waved to Ayane as he stood on the buildings threshold, slipping his shoes on "I'm headed out" "Take care" Ayane idly clipped two clogs together and yawned broadly. Raitaro muttered about how it was totally unfair he had to be the boss as he slipped out and started heading towards Kokuyo.
It was getting towards sunset when Raitaro arrived at the imposing building of Kokuyo Land. He still had Rakuraku neatly hidden as he dawdled up to the main doors and saw the two 'guards' standing by and trying to look intimidating "You got a deathwish, kid? Get lost before we murder you" "Oh noooo, I'm so scaaaared, mummyyyy, mummyyy the bad men scaaared me" Raitaro said, the lack of enthusiam was almost palpable as the guards started looking even more pissed off. Seeing he was actually making the situation significantly worse, he also added "Your bosses invited me. I'm Inazuma. Nice to meet you" "Ehhhhhh? You're Spiaggia's boss? This takeover will be even easier than we thought" laughed one of the less self-aware guards. Raitaro simply nodded "Yup. Totally. Complete cakewalk, I just go through here?" The guards looked perplexed but saw no reason not to let him through. After all, they HAD invited him.
The top hall was full of abour 8 students, tied up in a ring with a few people standing over them. They were wearing suits but the jewelry on their fingers was a sign they used Dying Will Flames and what's worse, they all looked reasonably capable. Like, it would have been NICE to have some back-up kind of capable, he might struggle otherwise. Standing at the front of them was a large imposing finger, his hair buzzed into a fashionable style with a loose fringe. He wore a suit like the others but no tie and large gothic inspired jewelry. Raitaro scratched his cheek while he waited for the introduction "Inazuma... I'm surprised you had the guts to come and meet... Il Serpente..." "Uggggggggggggggghhh" Rai groaned. He did NOT want to be doing this right now...

You can't escape Death's glare Hisashi witnessed the view of Japan from atop a building. He noticed the small breeze and the soft sky, nothing like France though. This place was more technology driven, though he didnt mind one bit. He hadnt been to Japan in a long time, since his family was killed by his father. But being in the same place as his father was sickening to Hisashi, thinking that he would do whatever he could to renounce his Japanese heritage, but it would mean dishonoring his grandmother and he had a little more sense than that. He stood up and pulled a sheet of paper, which had his current target on it. He sighed to himself, believing that the jobs of the mafia were to reduced to kids games. He thought about how previous leaders of families were just as young, though he would like to believe that they learned from their mistake. Hisashi brushed the hair out of his face and put the sheet of paper back into his pocket. This was one mission that he felt close to, but the fact that order would be put back into it's place was more important. "I am sorry Grandmother..." Hisashi hopped from roof to roof, scaling the sky like a bird, determined on his target. "...But Raitaro Inazuma must die."
He arrived a spot where the sheet of paper said where he spends most of his time. Was his base close? He had to admit, even with his years of experience in being a hitman, tracking was probably the hardest part of it. If they were smart, they could have already noticed him and were just waiting for him to make a move. But he was just a kid and there was possibly no way that he could deduce such a counter, could he? Lots of possibilities were running through Hisashi's head, something that always seemed to happen when finding a target. Seeing as how the leader of the Spiaggia was a kid, he figured that he would have no problem killing him, even if he was a child. That was one of the things that his father had taught that was semi-useful; dont show remorse for killing children or women. A dark philosophy for some, but it was the way Hisashi lived. Suddenly while examining the area, a kid caught his eye. He looked closer and gave a small smirk. "Raitaro Inazuma..." He quickly tailed him, masking his presence so that he would be hard to detect. He wondered where he was going off to, but it didnt matter cause it was going to be the final resting place for him.
Raitaro brought Hisashi to an amusement park, Kokuyo Land. It was almost sunset so something told him that he wasnt here for the rides. Hisashi witnessed his target enter through the main doors with guarding standing near them, letting him through. A meeting of some sort? Hisashi whispered to himself. He bypassed the front doors and found himself on top of the building, though he was careful on not letting himself be seen through the holes on the roof. He examined the situation from above, which appeared to be a hostage situation. Hisashi didnt care about what was happening, only his target mattered. Though something set Hisashi off inside. He saw the front man and noticed who he was. And then things clicked for him. With this group being here, he could only think of one question; where was his father? Hisashi burst through the roof with force, falling with the debris and landing right next to Rai. Hopefully when this was over, he would be able to kill two birds with one stone. He faced towards the man and met his gaze. "Il Serpante, not very creative on your part." His stance was calm and relaxed, like the thought of death was not present to him. "Where's my father?"

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be He had only wandered out looking for his cousin, wondering where Ryuu was. But really once again it seemed Ryker got into trouble. For whatever reason, sitting with other people he just felt weird. Why couldn't he just fight back? Or right they had hostages, and he happened to be one of them. Go figure life never seemed to go as he wanted it too. All he wanted to do today was have some fun. Get some relaxation in at some point if he could. If his mom knew where he was, she'd be biting his head off. Well once he was back home and safe of course. He groaned, his head hurt the more he was sitting here. Ryker didn't like how this was going. Seriously people were annoying him. Which was not that surprising, Ryker didn't like spaces like this. Realizing he was sitting here waiting. As these people probably decided his fate.
All he'd been doing was passing by the school. Not like he ever bothered going back to school. He was that young anymore to need to go back. He could just ditch school all he wanted. Or at least Ryker thought he could. The boy struggled, trying to reach his hands into his pockets. He just needed to get the knife he kept there. Flames and a knife, it wasn't perfect but if they were distracted trying to catch him. Well life would be really fun for him. And maybe those people could get out. Maybe. Either way he'd rather not end up risking innocent people for now. Ryker didn't know any of these people so why was he captured.
The name they said when that other guy came in made him laugh. Ryker was probably so reckless. Must come with the Hibari blood. Wouldn't be surprising on that one, he was a mix of two people from the Vongola. Hibari and Yamamoto. Go figure right? "Haha! Il Serpente, my cousin's pet has a better name with that. You are trying to scare him right? Gotta do better then that, you just look like some idiot with no sense of names. And you look like a deformed poodle..." He was still reaching into his pocket with his hands behind his back. Finally reaching the knife Ryker just slipped it into his sleeve. This was all too amusing to him. Maybe speaking up was a bad idea.
But as if Ryker cared, this guy looked more like a weird poodle then a snake to him. But that was just because maybe he'd been sitting still for too long. The energy from that was building up again. Ryuu and his mother would be kicking Ryker for this. Or telling him to shut up, but as if he ever did that. It just made things way too easy. If they got pissed off all the attention would be on him. Not anyone else. Which might make things a bit different plus Ryker was always one to try and lift the mood. Even in a situation like this. So just teasing the boss, yup that was his style.
Ryker pushed the knife against his ropes and started to cut through them. Just keeping that teasing look on his face. He was having way too much fun for this one, Ryuu was definitely going to kill him later. Ryker swept his legs out to knock the guy closest to him off his feet, before getting up. His hands were still behind his back as if they were tied. But his ropes were down at his feet, hidden by another person. Then he spoke. "I'm not in the mood of sitting here, how about we play a game of tag?" He wanted to play, and had a lot of energy to waste. So they picked the worst time to try and make him a victim. He heard the word's where's my father from some other guy who appeared. What the fuck was this about? Really his life just went down the hole again, and further this time. |

blossom of snow Why was it his luck that the day he'd taken off from his mission and go to school for the day and then go back to the dojo and spend time with his family that /this/ would happen. He'd gone to class normally and had been pleased to find out that his mist illusion was doing exceptionally well in most of his classes, besides PE, but that was because Sheeka generally didn't care to do well in that class. He was tiny and cute, it was only proper for him to not be too athletic, after all.
His day had been overall pleasant, in general until lunch time rolled around. Now, usually Sheeka would skip the rest of his classes after lunch. It just so happened that this day, Sheeka had not decided to skip school after lunch and instead decided to be...oh, he didn't know...in attendance that day for his classes. It was while in his math class that his pleasant day had gone to hell in a hand basket. Having been vastly outnumbered and outmatched once the men had stormed the classroom and placed Sheeka into a close-combat situation and also unable to do anything because of civilians in the room, he had been captured. It wouldn't be much to escape, of course. With Segno and his Mare Ring that he had picked up from its hiding place on his fingers, he could more than easily escape and get out without being detected, but there was absolutely no way he was going to leave the civilians there at their mercy.
His hands were tied behind his back and Sheeka was casually messing with the ropes, deft fingers working at untying the shoddy knots without anybody noticing. Their knot work was really bad, actually. And they weren't really that bright. They hadn't really recognized the little shota as Raitaro's mist guardian, which was just fine with him. When the boy they thought was least threatening of the bunch they had grabbed, a group that included one blue-haired boy who sort of reminded him of the Vongola Rain guardian he had only met in passing a few times and oddly, Raitaro when he was excited about something. The rest of their little group were four girls from Sheeka's various classes who were huddled together near him, ironically enough blocking some of the group's vision of his hands behind his back and then two boys who didn't look much stronger than Sheeka. Apparently, they had gone for the targets that they thought would fight back the least...pft yeah right.
A giggle escaped Sheeka's mouth as the navy haired male insulted his captors. It was funny. A moment later, one of the girls next to him squealed a "Don't touch me, you creep!" to one of her captors. A soft growl from Sheeka's lips, left unheard as the ropes fell from his wrists, untied. The ones around his ankles were next and within seconds, he had sharp teeth sunk into the wrist of the offending gang member.
There was a shriek of pain and anger as blood was drawn and he focused on dislodging the small boy from his arm. "Arck! Get him off! Get him off! He's biting me!" Free arm flailing for a moment before trying to pry the kid off of his wrist for several moments.
It was only convenient that at the exact same time, Ryker was lashing out and knocking a guy who was trying to go help his friend, Raitaro walked in, and another guy came crashing into the ceiling. Although, a moment later, the guy had managed to dislodge Sheeka from his wrist and sent him skidding across the floor from a well-placed storm flame fist covered punch and against a wall on the far side of the room. Spitting out blood from his mouth, both some from being hit hard and from drawing blood from his wrist, Sheeka stood up, hollered casually across the room. "Hi Rai~!" and wielded a knife stolen from the man he had just bitten the shit out of. "Hi person who just crashed into the ceiling~!" It was like he hadn't just bitten the absolute shit out of somebody who was scowling angrily and nursing a very bloody wrist. Sheeka hadn't been fully dislodged from his wrist when he moved, so instead, he had just dragged his teeth through flesh and left a nasty little gash.
A groan from the bitten one. "Can I kill him? Or at least sell him on the black market to some pedophile so I can get money for medical treatment...and maybe a rabies shot..."
"I don't have rabies! And if you do that, nobody will ever deal with you guys on the black market again. I bite, if you couldn't tell," Sheeka hissed slightly, clearly not liking his idea. Oh. He definitely didn't like that idea.

Post by RAITARO INAZUMA on Feb 19, 2014 7:09:48 GMT -5
Raitaro's wincing was interrupted by some hysterical laughter and observations by one of the hostages, he glanced across and nodded approvingly at the man giving so much sass to the poodle-headed mafioso. That guy looked to be about his age, they must be in the same year at school. He needed to go find him after this, he sounded like a cool guy. He also spotted a certain 11-year old in the crowd and there's only one person who looked 11 and was in the same class as him. Secret mission my ass, that was totally Sheeks. What was this Sheeka? Amateur hour? Raitaro totally didn't need to be here. Still his attention was re-focused as Il Serpente started shouting at them again "You DARE to mock me? My name strikes terror into those on the streets of Sardinia! Until I started working under Boss Sugiyama, I was the most feared of any on that island! You'd do well to remember it" "Really though? Doesn't it mean like, the snake? Isn't that like super lazy? 'Oooooh, I need a scary name, best call myself the skull or the devil or the spooky ghost', I mean how'd you even get that nickname?" "When I was younger I was always compared to the Cobra, for it's swiftness and deadly strike, that's why I have it tattooed on my chest" he demonstrated this by opening his shirt quickly and exposing a large gold and red tattoo. Raitaro thought about this for a couple of seconds before asking "Are you sure it's not because you spit a lot when you're angry? I mean, it's like a monsoon down here" before he even finished the observation, Raitaro hopped to one side as the ceiling came crashing down and a new arrival landed in the centre of the falling debris. He seemed to take stock of Il Serpente calmly before dismissing him (somehow this blow stung so much worse than the ones from Raitaro or Ryker as Il Serpente physically reeled from the insult) before being asked about his father.
"ehh? Your father?" Il Serpente looked perplexed, while Raitaro (in a moment of dumbness) glanced at the students and wondered if one of them looked younger than they were. This also had the plus of him seeing Sheeka bite someone and struggle with them before greeting him and the new arrival "Hi Sheeks. Could you stop messing around and deal with this soon?" Raitaro asked, quite reasonably he thought "I think I found some new recruits too!" his grin was infectious but Il Serpente was apparently immune as he cracked his knuckles and tapping two rings to two boxes at his waist "You punks just waltz in here, disrespecting ME? I'll show you both the venom of Il Serpente!" with a flash of crimson fire, Il Serpente pulled two short silver sticks out of the boxes with a thin thread dangling from one end. Once in the air, these threads ignited in crimson fire as he lashed them down to the ground slicing clean through the floor around him in two deep gouges. Raitaro thought for a second, rummaged in his pocket and flicked an orange ring at the new arrival standing besides him "There ya go. Though, if you're still going to try and kill me I'd like it back before the attempt" Raitaro hadn't seen him on his way here (though he had felt like he was being watched) but the timing of his interruption and his presence made him pretty sure that was inded why he was here "And obviously while I'm not your boss, I'd rather we didn't kill anyone" taking one last minute to ponder and glance at the glowing beads on his wrist, Raitaro tossed three different coloured rings at Sheeka and Ryker "I don't know which one that loudmouth dude is but he's earned a ring. I think we're handling this guy Sheeks can you clean up the others?" typical Raitaro, leaving Sheeka to do most of the work.
He did refocus on Il Serpente in time to see the spluttering boss gripping his whips with intense fury "You insufferable... MISERABLE... PUNKS!" Spinning his shoulders, Il Serpente unleashed both whips, seeming to head one at Raitaro and one at Hisashi, their path was direct but fast and the Storm Flames coating them made them dangerous. Raitaro seemed to be standing still, waiting to see what Hisashi would do first while the whip streaked towards his chest...

You can't escape Death's glare He was kind of pissed that his opponent did not give him a definite answer of where his father was, though he did sound confused on what Hisashi was talking about. He tensed his hands and looked at Il Serpente. What was even more annoying was the fact that the cocky voices of kids permeated through the building, all of them yelling about how unexciting his name was. It was exactly why he didnt like kids; they were too loud and it made it hard to think. He ignored the greeting that came from a child like he was a ghost and continued to focus on the story of The Snake, though Hisashi was unamused by the whole thing. "I dont care about your life story. Where is my father?" Hisashi's voice raised in volume. He witnessed Il Serpente take out his box weapons and sighed, thinking that this was not going to end well. He figured that he would wound him just within an inch of his life, then ask his questions about his father's whereabouts. Maybe even show him mercy if he answered.
He took out an orange box and was ready to to open it, until Raitaro threw a ring at him, catching it with his other hand. He examined it and listened to what Rai had said about killing him. Did he know this while time? There was only a few people in the whole world that could spot him from afar. He smirked and thought that maybe there was more to this kid than he thought. But he quickly discarded that thought from his head, realizing that it wasnt going to help. He looked at the ring before putting it on, figuring out that this was a funeral wreath ring, not as strong as the mare rings but still pretty powerful, more powerful than the one that he was wearing. There was something about his pride that said not to put it on, that accepting help from his enemies was weak and not permitted. He sighed and wore the ring anyways, seeing as how Rai was going to die afterwards, he thought that he might as well keep it. He put his new ring into his box, where it glowed a bright orange light, revealing a 6 foot scythe with a 3 foot blade. He brushed the hair out of his face, thinking about how this was supposed to be a simple assassination job, but finding out where his father is and killing a family leader was a good day in his books.
He held the scythe like it was nothing, though he has had a few years of experience with it. He listened to Rai about not killing anyone and kept a stern face. "You're right, you are not my boss." Hisashi wasnt going to make a promise that he couldnt keep, especially when it came to his job. Hisashi enveloped the blade of his scythe with sky flames, making it seem like the blade was on fire. He witnessed the end of the whip flying towards him, but stood his ground before it came just a few feet away from him. Hisashi lifted the end of his weapon and blocked the attack, making it so that the whip wrapped around his edge. He quickly sprinted towards his opponent, seeing that his whip was gaining slack the closer he got to him, attempting to hit him with an overhead slash.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Ryker only wanted to get out of this place, find something to do. Rather then getting kidnapped again. Really that was not what he wanted. All he'd done was pass by at the wrong time. So much for having luck, seriously just what was he going to do. This was something he felt majorly confused about. But the boy's body had reacted before his brain even did really. Reckless as always pretty much. With shrug of his shoulders Ryker stood down over his prey. Stepping on the guy's stomach then kicking his face hard. Attempting to knock him out. Not bothering to watch once the guy's head went over to one side. He would be out for awhile and hell of sore in the morning.
The boy had been trained in the use of his flames. Maybe not as well as he could have been. But somewhat yes. He knew how to use his abilities. Momma didn't want him using them, but she wasn't going to let his skills go to waste either. Ryker had way too much with this stuff. All he could do right now was deal with this, Ryuu could kill him later. For now he just didn't even want to care basically. He laughed hearing the shriek of pain. "Go get him!" That whole thing Sheeka did was amusing. Someone biting another person. Just the way they did that, he couldn't wrap his mind around it. But that amused him.
He had to keep in mind there was other students, and other guys here. They all seemed to have flames, but of course Ryker wasn't sure why they picked students. What logical meaning did that have? After all it's not like anyone else besides Ryker and Sheeka out of this group actually had powers. Or could fight back against them without dying pretty much. "You probably need more then a rabies shot, to solve your issues. Selling him off that way would get your head on a plate for his biting." He just laughed and stretched. As if he wasn't bothered at all.
"Sardinia that sounds like sardine man. Are you making shizz up? It'll hit you hard ya know." He laughed and just smirked, as he stepped on the guy again. Even if he was knocked out he'd still have some fun. Leave a few good bruises here and there. Basically. The tattoo? Really what was that about? People were so weird, and Ryker barely understood any of them by this point. Shrugging his shoulders he just wanted to ignore the idiot. Let him mess this all up on his own, he'd probably be very good at that.
Ryker blinked catching the ring and just examining it. He was not really that focused of a person. So for he'd have some fun. Putting the ring on his finger, he just smirked. Focusing his flames as they lit up the ring. "Heck yes~ I like this, now let's have some fun shall we?" He only glanced at the other guys focusing on Mr. snake dude. Ryker just cracked his neck. Leaving the knife in his pocket. After all for now he'd rather not kill anyone. He was just going to make life miserable for them.
"Come and get me." He laughed as he jumped up, using the guy's head as a bit of a step. Like a rock on a lake. Ryker just flipped off of the guy and landed back on the ground. He seemed to be getting the attention of those people. The ones Sheeka wasn't dealing with of course. He stumbled, and almost fell back on his butt. Making it look as if maybe he wasn't much of a threat? Though when the guy got closer he slammed his foot into the guy's jewels. And stood up to bring his elbow done in the back of the dude's neck. This was all a game of tag for him, well tag and observing.
And getting back the things they took from him. He wanted his pet back, and it wasn't on his person. Irony they grabbed that but missed the weapon really. People were just not smart it seemed. If he didn't have the pet back his mother really was going to kill him. He just slipped his fingers into the guy's pocket and dug around for it. It ticked him off that it wasn't there, and he didn't have time to dig more. The other guys were trying to attack him again. People just had no care. He was more interested in what Hisashi and Rai would do though. |

blossom of snow All Sheeka wanted to do was take a break from work. And what does he get? More work. He felt like Arashi who created more work in avoiding it...His greeting to Raitaro was met with an exasperated sigh of annoyance. "I'm not messing around. He deserved to be bit!" he huffed slightly, looking towards the man who was still nursing his injured pride and his wrist. Spitting against the floor, cleaning the rest of the blood out of his mouth in the process, Sheeka looked at Rai in a more interested manner as he announced that he found more recruits. He could understand the one who was insulting their enemies like a boss, but the one who had crashed into the ceiling? He didn't like the look that he was giving Raitaro.
Sheeka wasn't near as trusting as Raitaro could be. He was always cynical about new people he met. They had to earn his trust before he gave it. This guy though...he didn't seem to be there to rescue hostages but was demanding his father, for some ungodly reason. Sheeka would definitely have to keep his eye on him. It was during this moment of eying the man next to his boss with an eye of cynicism that the man he had bitten was on him. An annoyed hiss as Sheeka's small size made it easy to duck under his attack, fingers groping and trying to take the knife away from him. On his way under his guard, Sheeka's arm flickered out that held the knife, the blade making a clean cut to the back of his knee. A spurt of blood from the attack and the man was on the ground, grasping his sliced knee in pain. "God damn it! You little...argh."
"You used to be a mafioso until you took a knife to the knee," Sheeka quipped casually, taking the ring that Raitaro had thrown at him. He rolled his shoulders in a shrug, slightly confused as to why he would need a ring when he had two others. The mist flames hiding his Mare Ring and the Hell Ring, Segno fell from around his hands and the flames flared to life on his Mare Ring. The corner of his eye, he caught sight of a grunt moving towards him carefully, already seeing that this 'child' was quite capable and Sheeka spun, hurling the knife with pinpoint accuracy. It was deflected with the flick of a pair of tonfas, clattering to the ground. "You're unarmed now, brat," he grunted charging forward with the intent to knock out the boy with a well-placed hit to the head. It wasn't happening as two handguns materialized into Sheeka's hands, deflecting the blows. "I'm an illusionist, stupid. I'm /never/ unarmed," it was a little bit difficult for Sheeka, due to close proximity and his lack of prowess in close quarters, but he was doing pretty well for that lack. He was easily ducking and dodging, using his compact size and speed to help him avoid blows as he tried to find an opening. Finding none, he decided to create one of his own. His foot shot out, successfully tripping the tonfa-wielder and sending him sprawling into the man who's knee he had cut who was trying to get up.
To prevent either of the from getting up again, though it was highly unlikely that one of them could even function with that knee properly in the future, illusionary vines rose from the ground, wrapping the two of them in a tight enmbrace. As an afterthought, the vines shifted and wriggled in movement as they morphed into a long throng of snakes. "Since you know, Il Serpente," Sheeka offered his reasoning before turning to several of the remaining grunts, two of which were now trying to tag team the small boy while the remainder went after Ryker.
"Yeah, leave all the work to me...typical," Sheeka breathed slightly under his breath with the slightest of laughs. He should have expected it from Rai. They were best friends and sometimes seemed to live off the ability to fuck with each other. It was an odd relationship they had...
He was moving again using his small size and his superior speed to duck and dodge blows from a chain whip and a staff as the two members tried to work in tandem, but didn't seem to be on the same page. Sheeka on the other hand, was working on getting out of their range to a range he felt more comfortable in. It was getting on his nerves. He wasn't near as capable in these close quarters as somebody say, like Rai was or Ryker, who seemed to be doing just a fine job. Sheeka just wasn't built for close-combat, and it was rather obnoxious. He really needed some training in close-combat...

The whip cracked, sparking storm flames but missed Raitaro's face by a few inches. Usually he just took the hits clumsily and carried on but it seemed not today as he swerved his body slightly so the deadly attack missed his face. He kept his eyes focused on the whip-wielding adversary and tried to place what was bothering him about the guy. It wasn't just that dual-wielding whips was nowhere near as awesome as it sounds (dual-wielding anything was way trickier than people made out) but what were they even planning to do like this? They must have known he was better than... this snake guy. Even if they were going to take the territory by force they still needed force to achieve it. Did they have some back-up plan he was unaware of?
As for Il Serpente, he seemed to be more cautious of Hisashi than Raitaro. He still didn't know what he'd meant by asking about his father, but then again he still didn't know the kid's name either. For all he knew they might have killed his father after all. As the whip wrapped around the ferocious scythe that the newcomer had unleashed, Il Serpente growled, prepared to yank the opponent in closer but was rendered moot as he sprinted at him instead. Serpente panicked slightly, he couldn't whip him like this, but managed to get his cool before the attack came in. He thumbed a switch that made the whip reel in sharply, giving him enough taut that he could steer the scythe away from his body, as it bit into the ground to one side of him. Il Serpente was terrified of that damn weapon, this guy was way too strong for him to deal with, but his last minute reaction had saved his life for now. Grinning, he made ready to attack Hisashi from this closer range with the other whip when he was met by a foot to the face from the now leaping Spiaggia Boss. Releasing his grip on the whip still trapped by Hisashi's scythe, he tumbled backwards, being reduced now to one whip by a particularly unnecessary flying kick.
Raitaro flashed Hisashi a thumbs up, apparently still ignoring the fact Hisashi was originally there to kill him, and held his hand out as a flash of green lightning made a spear appear in his hand. The distinctive lightning bolt for the spear-point twirled briefly as Raitaro toyed with the grip before opting for a lazy one handed stance with the bulk of the weapon resting on one shoulder "Oiiii, Serpente? I think I know what's happening now! Did you guys hire a hitman to take me out? I'm pretty sure Scythe-niichan here would have a fighting chance" It was a reasonable conclusion to draw, plus it made it look like these guys had a decent plan. Still, it felt a little unfair, Rai already had a pretty good idea what he was going to hear next from the poor snake guy "What are you talking about the boss... the Boss said we'd be enough to take out a loser like you! Did he... did they hire a Hit-man for it..." The poor guy looked heartbroken at the realisation, which made Raitaro feel just a little bad for him. It looked like his father figure had completely betrayed him. Raitaro glanced over his shoulder at Sheeka and Ryker and shouted out to them "Sheeks! I worked out the secret plot these guys had going on! I totally did something smart!" and to restore cosmic balance, Raitaro turned around to see Il Serpente diving at him, whip drawn back and madness in his eyes "If I kill you maybe Boss Sugiyama will respect meeeee" he screeched as he lunged...

You can't escape Death's glare Hisashi pounced on his opponent, ready to end his life until his whip guided Hisashi's weapon into the ground next to Il Serpente. To anyone else, the presence of others would actually hinder one's abilities if they didnt know how to work with each other well. But to Hisashi, seeing as how he didnt care for the other participants, was free to hack and slash without any regrets whatsoever, secretly hoping that his blade would decapitate Raitaro. To be honest, he didnt even know why he was working with him. He could have easily killed him throughout this whole chaos and then come back to kill this ridiculous man later, before finding out where his father resided.
While thinking of what he should do, he noticed himself in the line of sight by Il Serpente, watching his other whip fly towards him. Seeing as how his scythe was deeper into the ground than he thought, it would have been too late to grab it and counter him. Hisashi, ready to handle the kind of pain that he was used to. Until he saw the foot of his target make contact with Il Serpente, knocking and stunning him. Raitaro gave him a thumbs up, in which Hisashi ignored. If he really did know that Hisashi was here to kill him, why would he save him? Was he that stupid? Being saved by his target was embarrassing, enough that he just wanted to end this right now. He glared at Raitaro and gripped his scythe, thinking that he would just end this right now.
His face dropped when Raitaro thought that he figured everything out, thinking that this kid was an absolute idiot. There was no way this kid was a mafia leader, no matter how good he fights. Hisashi gave a stern look towards Raitaro and almost growled. "Idiot, Im not working for them." Hisashi could feel his ange get the best of him, but he quickly calmed himself down, remembering the fact that soon he wont be alive anymore. Though suddenly he heard the yell of Il Serpente, lunging towards Raitaro with his whips held back. Hisashi quickly stood in front of Raitaro and gripped his scythe tightly. "If anyone is going to kill him..." The blade of his scythe glowed with sky flames. "...Its going to be me, Hisashi Sugiyama." He reeled his scythe back and yelled. "Meet your death, so says the reaper." Hisashi swiped the air, produced a long arc of sky flames that flew towards his opponent.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be He didn't know what to do on this one, besides maybe have a little fun. Ryker shouldn't have walked past the school. He didn't really waste much time attending. So of course it was awkward to be randomly snatched. But of course no one realized he wasn't just some weak kid. That'd he would actually be a problem. And not just him at that either. Sheeka, Rai, and that other dude. Just all of that confused him. Ryker wouldn't speak of it, not he'd rather just focus on something else. Somehow. Rather then holding onto this too much. He already knew it wasn't going to do him any good. Mostly because he needed to end up fighting. Right? Perhaps. Either way these thoughts were weird. Ryker wondered if his cousin would be really angry.
He hadn't been hurt, yet. He just wanted his box weapon back. They had to take that away from him. Which seriously was very annoying. Why did that even have to actually happen. At this point he wondered what he was doing. Oh right fighting, that had gone in one ear and out the other pretty much. Which he did not want to think about either. That guy who had been bitten was probably still fuming now that he thought about it. But Ryker just grumbled and ducked under a blow. Slamming his fist into the guy's stomach. The flames were flowing over the ring and his hand. But he refused to use the knife. If he wanted to kill them, he would.
But Ryker was just amused with this. Playing hide and seek so to speak basically. Well more of tag. Because hide and seek involved hiding. Which Ryker hadn't done since he was dragged here. They still had the hostages to deal with though. Ryker wouldn't for now though, he'd rather just shake this off. Do something else. Such as getting his box weapon back. He moved back and then brought his knee up to hit the guy's face. Feeling the blow connect to his side and he fell over. Just rolling out of the way of being stabbed. He did not want to get hurt worse or anything. If anything his side might just bruise. Ryker could see something in the guy's pocket.
This guys weren't joking around anymore were they? It seemed as if they were trying to kill Rai, or all of them. For whatever reason. People in this whole flame age were annoying. This boss guy didn't seem to care that people were after him, that the guy helping was killing him? Right. What was he supposed to say, Ryker even thought that was stupid. And he didn't seem to have any care towards himself either by this point. He blinked and just reached up to grab his box weapon from the guy's pocket. Ignoring the fist slamming into his cheek. It hurt, but he wanted his box. "Annoying little flea!" He grumbled, sweeping his leg out again to knock that guy down.
Laughing when they fell on the hard ground. Ryker stopped and tilted his head, this guy was weird. Letting his guard down like that. Just to talk to them? Really? Not that they needed to help him. Hisashi had that handled, so Ryker would focus on Sheeka for now. Even if all these people were complete strangers to him. The powers those two had, it amused him. |

blossom of snow He shouldn't have even bothered attending high school that day. He really shouldn't have, but it was just his luck that everything would go to hell in a hand basket. There was mafioso trying to take out the Spiaggia now, a hitman with the intention of assassinating Rai when this was all over...he wasn't that happy of a shota. And shotas tended to be happy...and he wasn't.
And the people he was currently fighting weren't amusing him either at the moment. Overall, this day was just very unamusing in general. The enemy wielding the chain whip flung his weapon, but unused to fighting somebody of such...shortness, it flew high over Sheeka's head and he swore angrily at the boy for being so short. A very colorful stream of swear broke from the Mist guardian's lips in Italian as the illusion of his gun hurtled through the air, cracking the man right in the head. It successfully left a rather dumbfounded look on his face at the fact he had just /thrown/ his pistol. It was during this moment of shock the the second gun Sheeka was wielding went off, disarming him as it shot into his main wrist, dropping the weapon his was wielding. Sheeka lunged forward for the dropped whip, grabbing the end of it and flicking it towards the staff wielder. It wasn't a weapon he was used to, but it had been his own mother's choice of weaponry. He'd never seen her use one before, but he'd seen her use ribbons while doing gymnastics. He remembered some of the basics of it and his own feeble attempts to mimic the graceful movements when he was younger.
It wasn't great, but he controlled the movements of the weapon enough to wrap around the staff of his second opponent who had recovered behind him. He yanked back the whip, also yanking the staff out of his hands. The staff itself flew into the man behind him who had successfully finally recovered from the blow to the head and the shot to the wrist. The end of the weapon crashed into his head. There was a gurgled squawk as the man's eyes rolled into the back of the head and he fell backwards, definitely knocked out. Unarmed and already been the witness of what they had assumed was a child, the other opponent did the smart thing and decided to retreat. "smart man," Sheeka commented, double checking to make sure the other men he had been fighting earlier were still secured. Raitaro also made a guess at what Hisashi wanted and Sheeka couldn't help but blink. Why couldn't he be like that normally?!
He moved closer towards Raitaro and Hisashi, warily keeping his eye on the scythe-wielder as well as 'Il Serpente.' A soft growl left his lips at the mention of him being the only one to kill Raitaro. "If you go near him with any intention of killing him, you'll have a hard time of doing so. He doesn't die easy, and I won't be letting you kill him, either," Sheeka stated in a rather threatening tone. It was just too bad he didn't look that threatening...He let out a huff of breath after a moment, turning towards Ryker for a moment making sure he was okay. He seemed fine and Sheeka couldn't help but be interested. His flames were Cloud, weren't they...They didn't have a Cloud Guardian...

Raitaro rather lack-lustrely dodged Il Serpente and smacked him with the dull-end of his spear as he went by, more to see if that would be enough to get the surprisingly aggressive mafioso to back down and think his options through. Sheeka seemed to say something to Hisashi (incidentally, Sugiyama? Ohhhh, that made sense) which sounded like a threat not to try and kill Raitaro. Raitaro blinked for a few seconds, realised what was going to happen and watched as Hisashi was most-definitely upgrading him on the priority list. He was fast too, appearing in front of him with the scythe reared back. "Reaper VS Undead Body, huh?" Raitaro smiled to himself. He could block it, probably, but with a blade that big and what looked like sky flames it was risky. He dodged out of the path of the blade but was chased by the arc of flames. Barely any time to react, he thrust out with his spear to redirect him in mid-air and narrowly missed the blast of flame that seared past him. He landed in a crouch and frowned to himself, he was really giving it a good go at killing him... If he didn't start retaliating properly he might get injured. While considering this, Raitaro noticed a burnt patch on his jacket and realised that he hadn't perfectly dodged that last attack. Rakuraku was still in one piece though, which was good, his dad would kill him if he damaged that. Still, that was pretty impressive, Raitaro made a note to google him when he got the chance. Assuming he didn't die.
He was kind of hoping that Hisashi wouldn't realise Raitaro had positioned himself so that Sheeka wouldn't be able to act on his threat of shooting him for trying to kill Rai. He was effectively shielding him with his head by standing in the way for whatever reasons were going through Raitaro's head. Adjusting his stance into one Sheeka at least was familiar with, Raitaro still didn't move but their was just the minor feeling of tension in the air, that he wouldn't end up getting singed or being so passive in future. Breaking this was Il Serpente getting up and growling as he cracked his whip, a few chuckles escaping him "Sugiyama? You're the bosses kid! Sorry about the confusion, sir, I didn't realise you'd be joining us in taking out the Inazuma brat! Should I go and handle his underlings for you?" Il Serpente seemed to be unaware Hisashi was not looking for his father for a pleasant reunion, he seemed to think he'd just turned up to help him against Raitaro. Which was... confusing. Hisashi said he wasn't working for them (which is fair enough), but his dad was the boss (also fair enough) and Il Serpente was now trying to brown-nose him. All Raitaro could think was that he preferred it when it was 2 on 1 in his favor. "So who hired you then?" he may as well give it a final shot, he had no idea how well Hisashi knew his abilities (if he knew his rep he wouldn't do a big open attack towards THIS stance so he had time to talk at least) so he may as well keep going "I know there's a list a mile long of people who want to kill me but there aren't that many who don't want to do it with their own hands. If it wasn't someone from this gang, who was it?" Raitaro was kind of struggling with this one. Usually he just beat the Hitman up, took their weapons and left them with a train-ticket to the next town taped to their fore-head. But he seemed to have taken a liking to this one. No idea why, maybe he reminded him of Sheeka in the too-serious department. Or maybe because scythes were cool. The Mare Rings in his pocket jingled slightly as he waited to see what his next move would be.
((OOC: Serpente thinks if he gets in their early enough, the bosses son might put in a good word for him. Little does he know...))

You can't escape Death's glare His scythe was gripped tightly in his hand, facing Raitaro with nothing on his face other than persistence and and determination. He had to admit, Raitaro was quick on his feet, dodging an attack like his. Though at that point, Hisashi was only getting started and he didn't want to use his full power right away, thinking that there was no need. But if he keeps avoiding him like this, he might have to finish it fast. To this day, he couldn't remember the last time he let a target get away and he wasn't going to let it end here. He noticed the burnt patch on his jacket and a slight smile appeared on his face. "Lucky." He would have liked his attack to take him all out at once, but he couldn't keep it up forever. The smile disappeared as quickly as it came. "If you knew anything about me, it would be this..." He acquired a stance, a stance that said that he was going to end it right here and right now. "...no one can escape death's gaze."
His scythe was ready to take his head, until he heard the voice of another kid, trying to protect Rai. He let up from his stance, with the intent of fooling them that he was scared or frightened, but the look on his face gave it away, as he was un-amused. He remember the tactics that he used to get free from his holder earlier, but thinking about it only just made him mad. "Sheeka Riva, the so-called right hand of the Spiaggia." He turned and faced him rather than his target. "When you learn to become a true hitman and not some ankle biter, than ill listen to whatever you have to say." Hisashi violently held his scythe in front of him and pointed it towards Sheeka. "But until then, stay out of my way, unless you want your blood to be shared with his." Anyone who hadn't seen death happen right in front of their eyes would be paralyzed with fear at the sight of Hisashi's grim face. He turned to the other kid, having no information about him and gave him the same look as he did to Sheeka, warning to not interfere.
The voice of Il Serpente lingered towards Hisashi's ears turning and facing him. He dropped his head down and a small smirk appeared on his face. "So this is what my father considers hitman; no brains and all brawn." He couldn't believe how thick he was, and he was getting more annoyed with how he refused to answer his question. Shortly after talking to himself, Hisashi quickly sprinted towards Il Serpente, using his scythe to catch him off guard and pierce the flesh of his chest, making a huge cut from his shoulder to his hip, not enough that he'd die on contact, just enough so that he wouldn't be doing anything that was reckless. He then figured that it was time to clear things up for both parties. He brushed the hair out of his face and started to talk. "I'm here for neither my father's account or the Spiaggia's. I am here because the balance of life orders me to be here." He took out a piece of fabric, which looked like it was printed with faded ink, at top titled 'Raitaro Inazuma.' "Ever since I became an assassin, I have been getting these fabrics with names on them, my targets. Nobody uses fabrics like this as targets so I don't know who gives them to me." He examined the piece of fabric and put it back into his pocket and looked at Il Serpente, thinking about his father and what had happened to him in the past. "All I know is that all of the targets that Ive killed in the past made this world a living hell. Without them in it, order resurfaces." He walked closer to Raitaro, still being wary of Sheeka and the other kid that hovered around them. "It's not me that wants you dead, its fate." He held his scythe by his side and gripped it tightly as always. "If its any consolation, I know that my grandmother would not approve of this."
Hisashi walked back to the injured hitman on the floor, and looked at him in his eyes. "Guess he didn't tell you, but I don't work for my father anymore. So with that being said. I'm going to ask you one more time and maybe you get to walk out of here with your life. Where's my father?"

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be Ryker was still trying to figure this out, he seemed to almost be bored now. These guys didn't put up much of a fight, and he had his weapon back. Holding the box tight in his hand he just wanted to let the pet out. But he could do that later. When he was away from this place, and these people too. He wanted to know more about those people. About the others, the ones that did interest him. Like Sheeka, that kid was one of the ones who ditched school probably. Ryker didn't really pay attention to learning either. It was not something he enjoyed. That would be for sure. He liked fighting, he liked things that interested him. Such as if the class was about computers or robots.
He might like it better. But of course his attention span was so short. The boy didn't think much about school. Much less stayed to deal with it. No he had other ideas in mind. A lot of other ideas that. He was far from bothered about anything else. This fight almost seemed to be over, which in a way was good for him. It didn't leave him a lot to worry about. Basically. Either way he needed to figure stuff out, rather then just pausing and not dealing with it. That was just how things would go. And he wasn't entirely good at handling any of this right now. Ryker wondered just why his mind seemed to be working faster then usual.
It was out of character for him majorly. Not that anyone else here would pick it up. Since they didn't know him as others did. He followed after Sheeka, a little. Just holding the box weapon tight. He had fought without his weapon. But he'd rather not reveal it now either. Since this probably wasn't going to do him any good either. It might only cause issues, they'd instantly know of his connection to Ryuu. If they didn't already. Ryker could lie when he wanted to, but thanks to other people half the time it failed miserably.
Somehow he had a feeling his life just took a really crappy turn. And he'd rather avoid it but logically that wouldn't happen. He should have already realized that anyway right? "Oh please, you don't scare me either. This isn't really the time to be fighting over who gets to kill who anyway don't ya think?" He rolled his eyes, Ryker was clearly a bit bored with this. While he had fun before it was not much fun now. Basically. Ryker took a step forward, he was ready for another fight if the need was there for it. But this also wasn't his problem.
He was not apart of whatever they were basically. Though the reason this guy was so obsessed with his father was lost on Ryker. It probably would only end up getting one of them killed. That was for sure. |
