blossom of snow Did he? He did, didn't he? He went there. He so went there. Ankle biter? ANKLE BITER? He was not a biter of ankles! He was not some little yapping dog that somebody called an 'ankle biter,' for biting at their ankles! He had never bitten anybody ankles either, for that matter. A growl of annoyance left the boy's lips as he glared at Hisashi. "Don't call me an ankle biter," he snapped, staring at his reflection in the scythe's blade without a care that he was having it pointed at him. "Mine won't be shared with his, but yours might be if you continue threatening my boss and best friend," from the way the small boy had taken out the four thugs of the little group, all in close-combat where he wasn't comfortable, then it wasn't like he had nothing to back up his own threats.
The fact that Hisashi had just taken out the boss of the small group they were fighting was definitely a pleasing thought to Sheeka. There was one less person to worry about trying to kill them all. Sheeka was prowling lightly around Raitaro and Hisashi now, never staying still and obviously ready to jump in to defend his friend. Hisashi was speaking again and Sheeka was only half listening, but then he revealed the reason why exactly he wanted to assassinate Raitaro Inazuma. A piece of /fabric/ told him to. That was the last straw and the small Italian boy snarled loudly. "Are you a fucking idiot? You're killing people because a piece of /fabric/ is telling you to? You don't know who is sending them? Perhaps it's an evil mastermind who wants you to assassinate these people because they're a threat to...I don't know, maybe the chaos /they/ could spread. Oh but wait...you have absolutely /no/ fucking clue who this person telling you to assassinate a /teenager/ is!" Sheeka swearing was a rarity to be seen, but it wasn't like he didn't know the words. It was just...that he didn't commonly need to use them. But this. This was idiocy at its greatest level. Rai had nothing on the man who went around killing people without knowing a thing.
"I may not be an actual hitman, but I've spent enough time around the Varia to know that Arashi-nii and Kaoru-nii wouldn't just go and assassinate somebody on the mere say-so of a piece of fucking fabric!" Sheeka hissed. "Don't you even /dare/ use the whole "fate" says so shit. I grew up on "It was God's will," thing, and that is the biggest bullshit anybody can say. Fate and God don't dictate anything. /You/ and whatever jackass is manipulating you are dictating everything. Fate doesn't matter, God doesn't matter. What matters is your own decisions," Sheeka glanced towards Raitaro and then back towards Hisashi. "Besides, the only fucking chaos Raitaro is spreading is towards the Spiaggia itself when he neglects his work, training and everything else. If anything, it should be /my/ name on that fabric. It's the right-hands job to make sure that the boss is doing the right thing...so if the world is made a 'living hell,' because Raitaro is alive, then it's my fault for allowing it."
| ► Spaiggia ► boop. Sheeka is very unamused. Spending too much time around Arashi. Swearing is bad, Sheeks. |

Raitaro seemed to be setting up against Hisashi, positions locked in a semi-stalemate as he explained his reasoning. Raitaro seemed to be taking it quite well, so he got given pieces of fabric with people's names on them? Well, he didn't know who was sending them, they could be an enemy mafia boss. Or... maybe they really were helping the world, maybe he was being sent to kill people to help the world. It was his aside about his grandmother that got the usually dense teenager to think properly for a second. He didn't know who Hisashi's grandmother was but the mission certainly seemed to bother him a little bit because it would upset her. He really believed in those fabric strips. But at the same time, he didn't want to just lay down and die. Before he could respond though, Sheeka exploded behind him.
It was surprising enough that Raitaro somewhat dropped his stance to blink and listen at the tirade of anger and repressed emotions issuing forth. He could almost feel his hair moving from the force of Sheeka's rant. In his defence, it was a subject close to his heart, Sheeka had been pretty emotionally closed off for a lot of time and he'd been through a lot on the belief it was 'God's Will' or a higher power. Hisashi's creed had unfortunately struck a rather raw nerve for the little right-hand. Raitaro did feel a little compelled to defend the scythe-wielder and very briefly interrupted with "Umm, Sheeks, I-" Before his loyal right-hand loudly listed all the ways Raitaro was a terrible boss, each statement hitting him like an arrow in the chest as Raitaro buckled under the abuse "Man Sheeks, I know you're mad but that's just mean..." Raitaro briefly noticed Ryker again and flashed him a thumbs up. He seemed to have decided the guy was alright for kicking so much ass and wanted to ensure he knew that before... he possibly died
"Sheeks's anger isues aside, this does leave us in kind of a predicament. You might be able to kill me, but with Sheeks and the other guy? Even if you are good you can't be that good, and I doubt you wanna die here. So how about this: Settle it in one hit. If you win, you get to walk out of here (with the possibility Sheeka will kill you at a later date). And if I win? You become my Sky Guardian!" expecting a reaction, Raitaro turned to Sheeka and added "Sheeks, trust me on this. Keep my promise for me" and then to Ryker "Dude, I don't even know you but you kicked some ass, make sure the others get out safe" sealing that with a wink, Raitaro adjusted his stance again as he faced off against the assassin. Sheeka and Ryker seemed brave enough about him but then he was the one who he was meant to be killing so maybe he just felt a bit more nervous.
It was only a few seconds but it felt like days while he waited for the right moment.
It was a flash of movement as Raitaro charged for the collision, flashing through to the other side with Rakuraku held out, tip barely wavering from the stop. The pose was held for a few seconds before he dropped to one knee and a thin line of blood showed through his shirt...
(OOC: dun-dun-duuuuuun, Hisashi's up!)

You can't escape Death's glare A small smirk was seen upon Hisashi's face as he received a harsh speech from Rai's right hand, but his body did not move one inch. He had often heard the criticism that others had given him when he explained how he chose his targets but it was something about hearing it from Sheeka that made him question it. Maybe it was because of the situation or maybe it was the tone of his voice. At first, he was sure that what he was doing was for the greater good; a chance to make this world a better place, something that his grandmother had always told him. It wasnt a coincidence that every target that he had taken out was a corrupt mafia boss, so why would this one be any different? Hisashi quickly the discarded the thoughts that were clouding his head and looked at Sheeka.
"If thats really the case, im sure that I will see your name will soon." Hisashi did not take well to being yelled at, especially if it was from an irritating kid like Sheeka. He was not known for having a bloodlust, but the feeling of his blade hitting Sheeka's skin was a good one to him. Hisashi had an feeling that both Sheeka and this other guy were going to attack him, which would just be a better chance on destroying the evidence of everything that happened here. "I can only hope."
He listened to Rai's apology on behalf of his right hand and the little statement that he made about taking on his friends. Again, Hisashi smirked, thinking that they really underestimated his power, seeing as how he could probably (and has) take out a flame users within 5 minutes, surely he can take on a bunch of children. He then listened closely at the challenge that Rai had proclaimed to him. It sounded like a one-sided bet, as Hisashi felt confident about his chances. He was never one to back out of a challenge, and he always kept his promises, though they were usually about killing others. But he tightly gripped his scythe and stood his ground. "Fine then, and as a bonus, I'll kill your right hand swiftly." Hisashi eyed his next opponent.
His attention turned towards Rai, facing him and holding his scythe with a killing intent. His eyes focused on his several points on Rai's body, seeing which part he was going to cut first. But only one made any sense to him. He lunged towards his opponent with a loud yell hoping to end his mission within the next few seconds, though it was not how he expected it to go. Hisashi felt his blade pierce Rai's flesh, but at the same time, he felt a sensation throughout his body. After the collision, he stood for a few seconds before falling stomach first on the ground, with the feeling that his body was paralyzed and still. "How...is that possible." Hisashi managed to turn himself over with staggered breaths, staring towards the ceiling. "I failed...but why dont I feel guilty?"

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be What was he even going to do here? So far this didn't seem to be going very well now did it? Ryker had to wonder why they were doing this. The whole kidnapping thing, and everything else that went along with it. What was the point? So far he didn't even see it, but maybe he was just being a bit blind instead. Couldn't be all that surprising now could it? Best friend? He tilted his head and glanced over at Sheeka. This whole situation was way too weird for him. Oh yea way too weird, it was like they were gay for each other. In the friend way, either way Ryker knew he'd rather be elsewhere. But like it'd be that easy to just back out of this situation slowly. People weren't like that, they didn't just let someone go. Not when he might have seen something he shouldn't have.
This was all so weird, all he could was stand there. And think about awkward these people were. Just how strange they were. Seriously none of it made sense. Not like it was supposed to anyway right? After all this was one of those not making sense sort of moments, he should have been prepared for this already. Even if he didn't want to be. Ryker held onto his knife, and just gripped the box weapon in his pocket at the same time. He did not want to deal with them trying to kill each other. He didn't even want to be here anymore. Now that he thought about it.
"God you guys pick the worst times ever to start discussing this stuff." Ryker rolled his eyes. Yet he knew they'd probably not listen to him. He was just a bystander with no logical reason to be here. So what if he had flames. That shouldn't matter, and it probably didn't. He couldn't be that surprised by any of it by this point anyway. Right? He was not sure what to say about this, not at all really. "Is he usually like this?" He had to ask Sheeks that, he didn't know. Not like he knew who this person was. They just met now, and he had been thrown a ring that didn't break. Go figure.
"Wait you idiot! seriously don't try to kill him!" This was irritating and Ryker was not sure what to do about it. Seriously just what was he getting into by this point right? It probably wasn't going to help much. Was it? "That's it isn't it! you actually care about him." That was what Ryker thought, though speaking his mind might not be the best idea. Right? Maybe. Who knew but as if he had a filter anyway. |

my heart is cold, please don't leave There were definitely a lot of repressed emotions welling up within and Sheeka didn't really like how he had just sort of exploded like that. He felt bad, but he knew what he was saying was right. Who had that right to decide that somebody should live or die? It was a bit hypocritical on his part because he wasn't completely innocent on that department. He had made decisions before that had ended the lives of others. However, when it came to somebody he honestly cared about...it was a lot more difficult to contain the emotions. Raitaro was his best friend, the youngest son of his mother's best friend. If something happened to Raitaro...his own mother and even Raitaro's mother would be disappointed in him. Of course, it was unlikely that either would have felt that way...but it was how he personally felt if something were to happen to Raitaro. Perhaps it had been the years of child abuse that had instilled that sort of thought process into his mind, b
Sheeka's gaze fell for a moment, away from everything and everyone for a brief second. "Sorry, Rai. It...just makes me mad that he's letting himself be used like that and isn't even questioning it...he doesn't know anything about you and he's not question it." A breath of air as he calmed himself down. "I'll trust you..." It was a small group of people that could be counted on his hands that had fully earned Sheeka's trust and Raitaro was definitely one of those. he hadn't really even done much to earn it, besides just being Raitaro. He loved his adoptive parents to bits, but being around the Spiaggia and the Inazuma family itself made him feel more at home and like he had a family more than anything, even if he wouldn't admit to that. "Hmn...well. I guess if you want the Varia down on your head, I suppose you could try to kill me..." he stated cheerfully, having mostly calmed down and bottled up the emotions again. He doubted Arashi would have appreciated some stupid hitman taking out the Mist guardian he was currently employing for some work. He was even getting paid for it. He didn't really need the money and it usually just went into buying more stuffed animals.
His full attention on both Hisashi and Rai, he watched Rai's gamble play out. He was a little bit worried, of course. Rai was somebody he trusted, though and he would let it play out as Rai wanted it to. He was worried about Rai, but not about the outcome of it. He seemed to have the ability to make things work out, even if it seemed that they wouldn't. Hisashi was wondering why he wasn't feeling guilty about losing to Raitaro and Sheeka smiled lightly. "Because you probably really knew it was wrong, somewhere," he paused for a moment to glance over at Ryker who was mostly silent throughout the entire thing and had spoken up at the end of it. He had one of the Fake Cloud Mare rings, too. Part of him didn't want to ask to take it back, either. He seemed capable.
He was an interesting character, to say the least and was a decent enough fighter. He was a Cloud user, which was a guardian they didn't have. Usually it was Rai who did the recruiting, but he'd done enough for one day. "Ah...I'm sorry about...all of this," one arm wearily waved at the fallen members of the group who had kidnapped them and then towards Raitaro and Hisashi. "It's not usually this chaotic." he stated slowly. His attention back on Rai for a moment, frowning at the thin line of blood. "Rai. You're bleeding. Don't worry me like that...Saya and mama would be disappointed in me if I let anything happen to you..." He said the last part quietly, out of earshot of the other two. A thought came to mind as he glanced towards Hisashi. "If you were wanting to get rid of the witnesses...what were you going to do with the hostages?" he asked, rather calmly as he got up again and headed towards where most of the hostages were still tied up and set about untying them, quietly asking them to be quiet about what happened there. Or, if they had to tell somebody, to at least leave them as a group out of it. They all agreedd to do so - it was hard to say no to Sheeka was he was intentionally using a cute face on them, after all. Which he was doing...sort of. He just sort of always had the cute face on. The inability to say no just sort of got worse if he was intentionally acting cute.
"So, Hisashi. Since you have lost the bet, this would make you the Sky Guardian of the Spiaggia." Sheeka stated casually as he headed back over, watching the group of hostages as they bolted from the scene. "I do hope you won't be trying to murder us again anytime soon? I would like to point out that we are close allies with the Vongola as well as the Varia, so I hope you haven't done anything recently to piss either of them off," Sheeka stated cheerfully. "But if you're correct in saying you've assassinated the corrupt, then there shouldn't be a problem." Trying to think of other things to point out or say, Sheeka thought about it. "Oh! You mentioned your father, didn't you? We would definitely help with that if its something you want help with..." Sheeka offered before glancing towards Ryker and smiling at him. "You're welcome to become a part of the Spiaggia too...we need a Cloud guardian, after all...and you seem like you'd get along great with Rai...We're pretty unorthodox with our recruitment, if you couldn't tell..."

Raitaro was still on one knee when he heard the flash of lightning and Hisashi fall forwards. It looked like he'd done it. Using his spear for support, Raitaro hauled himself up and hobbled over, one hand clutching the cut across his chest. It wasn't crazy deep, he'd avoided a lot of the damage, but he was still wincing as he sat down besides the downed assassin. He heard him ask why he didn't feel guilty about failing to kill him. Ryker and Sheeks offered their opinions, that he hadn't really wanted to kill Raitaro, that he knew somewhere inside him he was wrong. Raitaro seemed to think about it for a moment before offering "Because I electrocuted your conscience? Denkouissen does some real damage in the wrong places" trust Raitaro to miss the point of the question. While Sheeka and Ryker did their best to handle the mess around them (and Raitaro made a mental note to call an ambulance for Il Serpente before he was Il Muerte), Raitaro rested his spear on the ground to his side and looked at the hole Hisashi had made in the ceiling "My grandpa told me something. He said my mom used to have a saying. "No matter what you see, if you want to make your surroundings happy, please laugh". I dunno where she heard it but I felt like you needed to hear it too. I don't know if it works, and I don't know if I do the best to make everyone happy but I try. So, to be a good sport, I'll make you a second deal. Be my Sky Guardian and if you ever feel I'm doing more harm than good then challenge me again and we can fight it out."
Sheeka returned and pointed out that Raitaro was indeed bleeding and the young Spiaggia boss finally noticed as he looked down that his formally white T-shirt was now at least 70% red. He shrugged and grinned at Sheeka "We can donate it to the red cross" Raitaro decided as he heard Sheeka welcoming Hisashi to the Spiaggia. With plenty of thinly veiled threats and insinuations about the family's standing. Raitaro didn't really want to mention that the 'Varia' were only really friendly with Sheeka, they kinda squicked him out, and the only Vongola he knew was Sawada who was usually in the hospital so the Famiglia may not enjoy the reputation Sheeks did. Raitaro noticed as Sheeka welcomed Ryker to the group and Raitaro also brightened up, he'd been thinking of doing that too! Clearly, Sheeka could read his mind. Fishing in his pocket, he found the true Sky Mare Ring and tossed it to Hisashi (who was pretty sure was still paralyzed so it'd land on his head) and tapped himself down to try and find the Cloud Mare ring. He found one of the fakes and after blinking a while looked at Sheeka with an awkward grin "G-Good news! I already gave this guy the Cloud Mare Ring! Totally on purpose too!" it was around here that Raitaro realised he didn't even know the guy's name and he'd given him one of 7 unique keys to the universe. He should probably get more responsible with these.
Grabbing his spear again, Raitaro used it to haul himself up and rested an arm on Sheeka's head as he did "Still the perfect height" he added "Well, I'm gonna head home and bandage my gaping chest wound. Sugiyama-kun, you oughta be fine in the next couple minutes, stop by whenever you feel ready. Bro, you made a sucky day suck a lot less and... even though I never worked out what the hell was happening... I made some new friends! Let's call that a winning day..." now Raitaro just needed to wait for Sheeka to help him get out and he could finally chill for the day..

You can't escape Death's glare Hisashi could still feel the pain of Rai's attacks in his stomach, which permitted him to sit up, but it still stung him. He didnt know how to relay his feelings at this moment. One part of him was feeling ashamed and angry, seeing as how he was beaten by a child that he was sent to kill, something that has only happened a few times. But the other half of him was relieved, not because he was a child. It was something that he couldnt shake. He then looked at Sheeka, surprised at his sudden mood change, which Hisashi thought was because of the pain that he was in. Though he didnt want to believe Sheeka, maybe he was right. Was there something wrong about all this? He tried to say something, but all he could do was grunt towards him, still pissed off about the way that he talked to Hisashi. "I was probably going to kill them, but now that cant happen."
He could feel the pain fom his abdomen slowly disappear, allowing him to get up with as little pain as possible and stand on his feet, picking up his scythe and sending it back into its box. Hisashi thought that it would have been easy to attack them while their guards were down, but Hisashi had too much pride for that, being beaten in a bet that he knowingly took. Though he was annoyed that he was now their sky guardian, something that Sheeka had pointed out to him. People had told him that having the sky flame was a big deal, that he could probably rule a family if he wanted too. Though he wondered why Rai had the lightning flame as a boos, though that thought quickly diminished as Sheeka told him that the Vongola and the Varia were close allies and hoped that Hisashi hadnt pissed them off. "They are the ones who shouldnt piss me off." Hisashi then confronted the real problem with this, his father. His fist tensed up even before Sheeka the whole title. "I dont need any help with finding my father, especially from from kids like you."
Hisashi felt that his time here was now over and started to walk out like nothing had ever happened, until Raitaro had preached to him some word that his mom had said to him. He stopped in his tracks and listened to them, like he had heard them before. In one of the first time he had been here, he had smiled, a genuine one. "Sounds like something like my grandmother would say. You probably know her as Yuni." He turned and looked upon his fellow members of the Spiaggia. "I might be your sky guardian, but that does not mean we are friends, nor does it mean abandoning my mission on finding my father." Again he started to walk out the front door with these words in mind. "But if you somehow get into trouble, which you probably will, ill be there to reap souls." Hisashi gave a light wave and seemingly vanished out of sight.

| Never really stayed in one place Maybe that's the way it should be He didn't seem bothered by this whole situation now, it felt confusing though. Ryker had never really run into situations like this, he was holding onto his box weapon, and just petting it. Trying to keep the animal inside calm maybe? Or keeping himself calm instead. Either way Ryker was trying to calm someone down. This already had to be weird enough for him. After all Ryker didn't deal with people like this often. He was always kept focusing on his studies. Which he hated. Constantly learning was just not good to him to begin with. Basically. This was already getting more out of his element. Maybe he needed to walk away. Ryker couldn't be blamed if he did that right? After all Rai and this other guy had his own things to deal with.
Sheeka was not someone he knew either, so what was he supposed to say? It might be a tad bit confusing in his own mind as well as the others. But he wouldn't push the matter right now. Since it wouldn't help him anywhere. He just leaned back a bit with his hands behind his head now. What would they say to him? As if they wanted anything from him right? He was already one of those weird people. He had just been kidnapped then suddenly he had flames. Go figure right? Perhaps. Right now he only had a feeling he wasn't in the right state of mind. He was exhausted from that fight they had.
"Uh yea sure. Not this chaotic. Whatever man, doesn't bother me." It really didn't, he just laughed and shrugged his shoulders. He was probably enjoying this, as per usual. They were pretty weird but he'd deal with it. Somehow. Right now none of those thoughts even mattered. Why was he bothering to get involved with this anymore? Just what was the point. Ryker looked at him then tilted his head. "Uh sure? I mean I don't have anything else to do, plus being part of this sounds like fun!" He wanted to tell Ryuu, he couldn't wait to tell Ryuu. But would this even go anywhere. After all he'd only gotten into one fight and pretty much nothing else by this point.
This was a bit strange. He glanced at the ring that was still in his hand. Yes he removed it from his finger but he held onto it. So this was the real one? Just how was he supposed to wrap his mind around that. It didn't make sense to him, there was no real reason or way to make that mistake. Then again he probably would do the same now that he thought about it. What was he going to do? Oh right he needed to go home. "W-wait you gave me the real one? Which means. I um should go home. See you guys later I guess?" He just shut up and tried not to grumble. Last thing he needed was to think. It made his head hurt.
This guy who poofed was a weirdo. But he'd just let it go for now. |

my heart is cold, please don't leave They could what? Donate it to the Red Cross? That was just silly. "I don't think blood donations work like that, Rai..." Sheeka commented dryly as he glanced towards Hisashi as Raitaro spoke, allowing him judgement should Raitaro do anything wrong as well as the chance to kill him again. Sheeka would have killed Rai himself if he saw that the other male was doing anything wrong, but this would be the compromise that maybe Hisashi needed.
Sheeka clicked his tongue slightly in annoyance as he lightly inspecting Raitaro's injury. The bleeding had already slowed down some, so it could wait to be truly looked after. Besides, he wasn't overly confident in his abilities to be a nurse as well as a housemaid...although his father did run and and own a medical company. It wasn't like Sheeka exactly had the flames to be able to help with the healing process. After a moment, Raitaro began fishing for the Mare Ring of the Cloud, eventually stopping and letting out this stupid laugh and explanation that he'd already given it to Ryker. He sighed at his boss' stupidity, but rather than punch him or exacerbate his injuries more, he just gave Rai a look that Raitaro probably knew all too well by this point in time. "Yes, well...considering you already /have/ the Cloud Mare Ring...I guess that concludes this little...meeting...thing. You can usually find us at the Inazuma Dojo..."
After speaking these words, Raitaro had mentioned heading back to the dojo and used Sheeka as a way to stand up, commenting on his height issues as he did. A soft growl left his lips as he resisted the urge to simply move and send the boy he saw as an older brother crashing to the floor. He managed to not move, at least and instead just gave him another look of annoyance. "Come on, you big idiot..." Sheeka stated slowly and rather fondly, stifling a slight laugh, as he began walking, keeping his movements slow and also helping Rai move along all the while the other leaned upon his head. "This day has definitely been interesting..." He glanced towards Il Serpente and the remaining grunts who were either knocked out on the floor, or were tied up by Sheeka's illusions. As an afterthought, he activated his Mare Ring, ropes coiling themselves around all of them. "I'll come back for them in a little bit. the small child stated thoughtfully.
