PERSONALITY
Positives
• Kind- Though she may not look it, Reiko has a sweet side and is compassionate. She looks out for those who cannot defend themselves and believes that she is doing good in the Varia by protecting the civilians from harm. Reiko has a big heart and likes to help out those less fortunate if she’s able to and admittedly has a bit of a bleeding heart. She does not like to see anyone hurt on her watch and will do whatever it takes to prevent that from happening.
• Optimistic- Despite what has happened to her in the past (none of which Reiko remembers), she looks on the bright side of things. No matter how bleak things may appear, Reiko always finds a reason to smile or joke about the situation in an almost annoying, cheesy manner.
• Loyal- Reiko’s loyalty is not easily earned but once gained, her word binds her and she will not go back on her promise no matter what the cost may be. She will die for what she believes in and will not betray her friends or the Varia even if her life is threatened. Should anyone manage to gain her trust and loyalty, they will find a friend that will stay by their side through thick and thin.
• Agile- Due to her love of dancing, Reiko is very quick and graceful. She can quite literally dance circles around her opponent and tends to play with her prey before closing in.
• Observant- Think before speaking is not exactly Reiko’s motto but she is very observant and likes to surprise her teammates with their favorite music or candy that show yes, she does listen. Her loud behavior is just a cover for her thoughtfulness to make it seem as if she doesn’t think things through. Reiko is able to make quick decisions because she is able to take in the scenery quickly and thus makes it seem as if she is leaping before looking. Of course that’s exactly what she wants you to think.
Negatives
• Possessive- Reiko has a bad case of separation anxiety to say the least. Due to her amnesia she has no recollection of who she is other than what she has been told. This has made her cling rather hard to the things she does know and can be a little over protective of her friends to put it mildly. The things she knows are hers and hold some importance to her (or so she’s been told) are off limits to anyone lest she lose the only clues she has of her past life. Should she lose anything or anyone that she has gained after waking up with amnesia, Reiko can be a bit unstable and prone to panicking or lashing out at anyone or anything.
• Stubborn- Once Reiko sets her mind to something, she will not change it for anything or anyone. She may not always be right but she’ll try it her way first before admitting that she was wrong. The only person she may back down for is the Varia captain, Arashi, and even that is questionable at best.
• Loud- What’s an ‘inside voice’? Reiko certainly doesn’t know and tends to shout, or at least talk very loudly, everything that she says regardless of circumstance. You want privacy? Talk to someone else or somewhere where nobody has the slightest chance of hearing Reiko’s obnoxiously loud voice.
• Temper- Though Reiko is usually bright and cheery, this is a façade to hide a much darker side. Reiko has a fierce temper and should anyone have the misfortune to make her angry, she almost becomes an entirely different person and turns cold, almost unfeeling. In this state, she becomes a predator and the only thing she cares about is destroying her prey.
• Fearful- Reiko is terrified of the unknown or rather, what she doesn’t know. Her amnesia destroyed the memories of her past so completely that she doesn’t know who she was or what she did. The ‘what ifs’ of her past haunt her to this day to the point she often has nightmares about it. She’s afraid of finding out about her past and yet is afraid of what might become of her if she doesn’t remember. It’s a dilemma that Reiko has yet to come to terms with but this side of her is hidden from anyone and everyone except for those that she trusts completely.
Likes
• Dancing- Reiko’s best kept secret is her love of dancing. She doesn’t quite know why she likes it so much but it’s one of the few things that makes her forget about her fears and worries. Her favorite style of dance happens to be ballroom or ballet dancing but there are very few dances that Reiko hasn’t mastered, or so she says.
• Reading- Romance, history, mystery, Reiko loves to read any book she can get her hands on. She especially likes the author Yuuki Nami because odd as it seems it almost reminds her of home…or at least, what home would have been like if she could remember.
• Nature- Mountains, the ocean, flowers, Reiko loves the outdoors and everything about nature in general. Second only to dancing, Reiko loves arranging flowers and making the perfect arrangement for her customers. She has an eye for color and each and every one of the bouquets she creates is unique in its own way. Reiko doesn’t like being inside for very long and enjoys being outside whenever possible rain or shine.
• Sunrises- A morning person through and through, there is rarely a morning that Reiko does not make sure she is up in time to watch the sun rise. It is the start of a new day after all and she loves to watch the different colors light up the sky.
• Sparring- In Reiko’s opinion, there is no better way to train than with a partner. Sure she could get just as much training done by herself as with a partner but where’s the fun in that. Reiko prefers to work with someone to hone her skills because then it benefits two people instead of just one.

She hates not being able to remember what happened to her or who she was before what appeared to be an attempt on her life. It’s a double edged sword to Reiko because though she hates not having her memories, not knowing who tried to kill her all those years ago is worse.
• Night- Though she doesn’t know the reason why, Reiko is afraid of night and gets incredibly anxious and jumpy when she has to be outside. There’s something almost frightening about not being able to know if there is someone around the corner lying in wait to ambush you. Lucky for Reiko, she knows how to handle herself and though she’s still jumpy at night, it has gotten slightly better.
• Silence- Quiet is unnerving to Reiko which is part of the reason she’s so loud. Awkward silences especially make her fidget and more often than not she will blurt out the first thing that comes to mind in order to break the silence. It’s rare that Reiko is at a loss for words simply because of this and when she’s not talking she’s usually listening to music, reading a book, or doing something else to occupy her mind.

While using this power, Reiko is able to run faster than a cheetah and can lift as much as 20 times her own weight. Reiko is able to use this ability after charging her flames in one post but the power only lasts for five posts maximum with a seven to eight post cool down. After she has used this power, Reiko is hardly able to move because she uses up a lot of her flame in the process. Generally speaking, Reiko only uses this as a last resort because it is so exhausting and renders her all but helpless.

Nunchuks of the Sun ~ Potenza del sol
Meant for close range, Reiko uses these weapons predominantly to quite literally beat her opponents into submission. When imbued with her sun flames, the nunchucks already hard surface increases until they are as hard as diamonds. While covered with these flames, the nunchucks can crush anything they hit be it bones or a steel structure of a building. It takes approximately one post to charge the flames enough to harden the nunchucks and the effect lasts approximately 6 posts and requires a 3 post cool down.

Roxy is a small Fennec fox with a golden coat and red, almost flame-like fur coming out of her ears and on the tip of her tail. Though she may be small, this little fox has quite the attitude and isn’t afraid to let everyone know when she isn’t happy. She gets especially irritated at Reiko for constantly putting herself in harm’s way and will literally scream at her for taking such a risk. The screaming match that usually ensues thereafter would be comical if it wasn’t for the sheer amount of noise it creates. Roxy does truly love Reiko though for as much grief as she gives her and would do anything for her.

Roxy is able to emanate a soothing warmth that has the ability to heal an array of injuries. If the injury is serious however, she can only stay death until more help arrives. Minor cuts and bruises are easily healed as well as minor fractures or cracked ribs. It takes approximately 1-3 posts to charge depending on the severity of the injury and the effect may last up to 8 posts maximum if the receiver requires prolonged exposure.
