• Charismatic- Kira is a smooth talker and an even smoother actor being a naturally charismatic individual who seems to have a knack for knowing what to say. He’s a very social person, one who could easily be the center of attention at any formal event due to his classic charming words and playful demeanor. As one who knows the limits and boundaries of correct speech and social structure, he ebbs around lightheartedly, and while his demeanor may be a turn off to the more negative, those with a shred of positivity often find him easy to be around.
• Confident- A young man that has had successive amounts of positive reinforcement in what he has done in the past up to a point, Kira is a naturally confident person capable of moving forwards without fear of failure or doubt even in the face of great odds. He holds a boundless self-confidence, and while this is prone to shaking at some points in especially trialing times, it is otherwise very stable allowing him to move take the initiative forwards. They say that a journey begins with a single step, after all.
• Easy Going- Kira is not someone who stresses quickly or worries too much in life. His relaxed approach to living allows him to think positively in dark situations, to move forwards through trials and strife, and in general, he is more capable than those that allow their emotions to get the better of them. That does not mean that he can’t get emotional so much that it takes much to rile him, and he is quick to cool off again.
• Thoughtful- Despite how easy going he appears, Kira isn’t an idiot. He’s surprisingly intelligent and meticulous in thought, capable of coming up with plans and making hem work with just a bit of effort on his part. He is hard working when it comes to following through with his own ideas much to people’s surprise when they find how flighty he is otherwise. As someone who does think before he speaks and acts (much to people’s disbelief), he is able to push or pull a conversation the way he wants to.
• Outside the Confines of Society- As someone who has distanced himself from the social realities of laws and duties, Kira enjoys a boundless freedom unheard of by others. He goes where he wants to, when he wants to, and for whatever reason he wants to. He views laws and rules as something to be broken should they get in his way and has almost no regard for the social structure or order of others. While some inside of society might think this is a terrible trait to have, for Kira, it ensures that he is who he is in everything he does.
Negatives
• Aloof- Despite the boundless freedom that he experiences, by not carrying the rules of others or the social mannerisms that build natural bridges, Kira is an aloof individual. People, while fun to play with in all senses of the word, aren’t something that he is naturally inclined to let into his deeper thoughts. Instead, he sees most as dolls, action figures, maybe, in the way in which he can play with them and set them away again should they bore him. Ironically, if not for the fact that they are fun to play with, fun to mess with, fun to run around with, Kira would feel almost nothing towards people in general and probably live a very solitary life. Instead, he becomes something of the terror puppet master, one who holds no rules for himself.
• Emotional- Unlike many stoics or the chronically strong, Kira is an emotional creature, someone that enjoys having feelings even if they cause him strife and heart ache. He would rather feel everything than lock it away as he had once had. However, it also causes him to sway with his impulses and go with what he feels more than with what he thinks. He is thus a wild card to say the very least of it.
• Kleptomaniac- There is something to be said for someone who enjoys the five finger discount and willingly encourages his own terrible tendencies: namely that he’s not good. Since he was rather young, Kira has been granted and given things to the point of being spoiled, and after having a lull with his parents, he took to stealing. As years have transpired, it has become a full on disorder acting in an unconscious fashion almost. Kira makes a joke of it that when he checks his pockets every few hours, he finds more and more stuff he’s pretty sure he didn’t put in there.
• Chaotic- Kira holds no love of order nor does he regard rules as anything more than things to be broken at the right time. Restrictions are for other people, and he feels entitled to being free in all sense of the word. To say the least, it’s a terrible mindset causing him to sway between his desires with little to no moral value attached. That doesn’t mean he isn’t aware of what most would consider good, righteous, and just, it just means he personally doesn’t care either way.
• Impulsive- Riding the waves of his feelings and trusting his gut more than his head, Kira is a chronically impulsive person, someone bound to jump to conclusions rather quickly for subtle shifts and one to act on them just as quickly. Inheritor of Mist flames whose art is construction, Kira possesses the two densities of flame, soft and hard, and while soft is considerably much easier to control, hard provides the capacity for higher level attacks. By almost nature of his flame, he is also an illusionist, someone capable of deceiving the senses through mental capacity alone. He specializes in illusions of the Major Arcana nature, though he hopes to encompass them all and expand into the minor Arcana- when he decides to actually get around to training, anyways.
Il Matto- The Fool: Without a number or sometimes given a zero, the Fool is considered both the strongest and weakest of the Arcana akin to an Ace in regular playing cards to some games. He represents a free spirit as well as a crazed wisdom, someone out to decipher the world of madness. The nature of this technique then is a ‘crazed wisdom’ in that Kira is capable of dispersing other illusions and being able to see the nature of the illusionist creating them. It draws on soft Mist flames that quickly swirl up to fifty feet around him dispersing illusions up to fifty feet with general ease. However, while it can disperse illusions- even those conjured up by soft Mist flames, it is not capable of dispersing illusions created by hard Mist flames- in essence, real illusions. It also does not cancel the other illusionist’s power to draw up more illusions. Instead, it acts as a single post disperser allowing Kira a chance to see through the situation, and it’s up to the capacity of the other illusionist in how fast they can recreate illusions then. It takes but one post to charge and use this power, yet it has a three post cool down stage thereafter.
Box Weapon:
Tarot Card Deck: Not exactly a weapon in the academic sense of the world, Kira’s box contains a set of 78 tarot cards that can be charged with Mist flame in order to unleash various illusions and real illusions. Despite its potential, optimizing such a box is extremely difficult even to advanced illusionists due to each card having a different requirement of combined Mist flame (soft and hard) in order to activate it correctly. It takes practice and careful study in order to “unlock” each card, and so far, easy going Kira hasn’t gotten anywhere close to unlocking its full potential. It should be noted that the cards must be unlocked in sequential order, as designed by the box maker, and because he started on the Trump Arcana rather than the Minor ones who are notably easier to use but only hold supportive roles, Kira has set himself up for a headache and a half.
Il Bagatto- The Magician: Number one in the Major Arcana, the Magician is not all he is cracked up to be. In the century the Arcana were first introduced, he was noted more as a con artist than a practitioner of true magic, known to deceive others with hand tricks in order to yank them out of their money. In this way, the first card in Kira’s box weapon is purely illusion created via soft Mist flame only. All Kira must do in order to activate him is release the box and hold the card between his index and middle fingers charging it with soft Mist flame. Thereafter, soft Mist flame spreads out around the area ‘constructing’ objects from Kira’s imagination. Obviously larger things will take more time to ‘construct’ than smaller things, and it can only reach up to thirty feet around Kira. However, the versatility of this card is only limited to his imagination. That being said, it is actually quite easy to see through the illusions created- as all one has to do is touch them to watch them dissipate. Those with strong minds or the natural capacity to see through many illusions may even be able to readily see through it regardless. Kira is able to use this particular card on its own for up to four posts before a three post cool down is required.
La Papessa- The High Priestess: Number two in the Major Arcana, the High Priestess does not speak but instead gives wisdom through her silence and peace. Unlike the Magician, she is not one who shows simple tricks but reveals hidden meanings and truth, and also unlike The Magician she requires a combination of soft and hard flames in order for her abilities to be accessed (a defined four to one ratio of soft to hard). In a way, she acts in the manner The Fool does in that she dispels illusions, yet unlike the Fool who can only dispel regular illusions, The High Priestess is capable of blocking Real Illusions acting a heavy barrier against them and their dense flames. However, she is unable to block non-Mist-flame based attacks. She can be activated in one post and maintained for one before a two post cool down is required.
